From Thursday to Saturday, 16st of July to 18st of July, 1998.
The Conference will be hosted by the Technical University of Budapest, located on the bank of Danube, in downtown of Budapest, Hungary. The sessions will be held in the main building of the university.
The official working language of the Conference will be English.
The weather in July is generally warm and dry. During the day the temperature ranges from 28 to 32 oC.

Budapest can be reached easily by air, train or car from all majors cities of Europe. Direct flights are also available from a few cities of U.S.A. An Airport Minibus service is available from the airports to each hotel. The fare for one way (1,200 - HUF) is much cheaper than the taxi rates. Railway Stations are connected with Public Transport. Trams, metros and buses operate without conductors. Tickets must be purchased in advance at metro stations and validated by the passengers in the carriage. Suggested dress for all social events: informal.
In Hungary electricity is supplied at 220V, 50Hz. The outlet and plug are the same as in most European countries.
Participants should arrange health, travel and car insurance prior to departure. The organizers do not assume responsibility or liability for loss, injury or damage to persons or belongings however caused.

Banks are generally open from 08:15 to 15:00 on week days and closed on Saturdays and Sundays. Post offices are open from 08:00-09:00 to 17:00 on week days. Currency exchange is possible at banks and exchange offices.
Admission to the Technical Program, exhibition and social events is permitted to those wearing an official conference badge only.
Each accepted paper reaching us in time will be published in the Proceedings that will be distributed at the Conference Registration desk. Extra Proceedings will be available during and after the Conference.
